Remote Deposit Anywhere is MCU’s service that allows you to deposit checks using a mobile device such as your smartphone or tablet. RDA is part of our mobile banking app. If you have never downloaded MCU’s mobile banking app, go to the iTunes App Store or Google Play Store and input Missouri Credit Union mobile banking. If you already have the mobile banking app, be sure to update it so the RDA feature shows in the mobile banking menu.

Members at the e-Connect, Plus, and Ultra Advantage levels may use RDA if their account is in good standing (and open for more than 30 days), and meets the system’s nightly evaluation for eligibility. Eligibility includes but is not limited to the following: no delinquent loans, no charge-off loans or shares, no bankruptcy, and no repeated NSFs.
Members at the Smart Start Advantage level will need to upgrade their Advantage level to use this service.
The daily limit is $5,000 and the per-check limit is $5,000.
First, be sure all payees sign the back of the check and include REMOTE DEPOSIT above all signatures for proper endorsement. Once submitted, you will receive an email confirmation from email@example.com which is sent to the email address on record. The confirmation will state that your deposit has been received, the date it was submitted, the total dollar amount, and a reference number for your deposit.
MCU must verify your deposit, and will make your funds available to you on the second business day after the day we receive your deposit. For example, funds deposited on Monday will be available on Wednesday. Funds deposited after 10:00 p.m. Monday will be available on Thursday. Funds deposited after 10:00 p.m. Friday will be available on Wednesday during the next week.
Mobile banking shows your available balance only. Unverified or uncollected funds will not be included.
Currently you can only see pending items through mcu@home on your desktop. Go to Pending Items under the History.
RDA users are required to keep the original check for a reasonable period of time to verify the credit has been made to your account or to balance your monthly statement. During this time, the check item(s) should be stored in a secured place. After the retention period, the original check item(s) should be destroyed to ensure they are not accidentally deposited again.
RDA users must securely and irretrievably destroy the original check item(s) after the retention period. Competent shredding equipment will assist in the complete destruction of check information. Do not leave deposited items lying around, and do not put deposited items in the trash or recycle containers unless they have been shredded first.
To help you identify checks that have been deposited using the mobile banking app and to prevent them from being deposited again, write REMOTE DEPOSIT above the signature(s). In the future, if we find a check that doesn’t have REMOTE DEPOSIT written above the signature(s), we may not accept the check for deposit.
